Why is it important to protect your pumping equipment with EMOTRON monitors?

Emotron Monitors have short response times to shut off your pump if it begins to cavitate or run dry, both of which are conditions that can destroy a pump. Additionally, Emotron Monitors ensure that your pump is running within your specified parameters and will prevent you from overloading your motor.

Emotron load monitors monitor TRUE POWER, not CURRENT. Why is this a benefit?

AC Induction Motors driving mechanical equipment are typically operating at only 50% or less of their rated full power. Up until a motor reaches 60% of its rated power, the current consumed varies only slightly, while the TRUE POWER changes considerably and uniformly as load is applied. Therefore, it is much more accurate and reliable to measure TRUE POWER instead of current across the full range of the motors load. Measuring current on a lightly loaded motor simply doesn't work.
